Prepare the sweet potatoes. Poke holes all over with a fork, and microwave for 2 to 5 minutes, depending on size. Cut open and let cool. Thoroughly mash sweet potatoes until smooth.
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
In a medium mixing bowl, add 1/2 cup almond butter, two eggs, and 1/4 cup maple syrup to the mashed sweet potatoes.
Mix the wet ingredients well until smooth.
Add 1/2 cup cocoa powder and 1/2 teaspoon baking soda.
Fold 1/2 of the chocolate chips into the brownie batter.
Pour the brownie batter into a parchment-lined 8×8-inch baking pan. Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips and a little sea salt evenly over the top.
Bake for 25 minutes.
Let cool for 15 minutes, then cut into squares and enjoy!
