Open up dates (make sure they’re pitted) and butterfly them out. Lay them side by side, flat against the bottom of an 8x8 pan lined with parchment paper.
Lay another piece of parchment over top of the dates and use a drinking glass to press them down and into one another so you get one consistent layer of dates all smashed together.
Spread 1/3 cup drippy peanut butter evenly on top of the date layer.
Melt 1/3 cup of chocolate chips in a small sauce pan over medium low heat (stirring the whole time to make sure no parts burn and all clumps melt).
Spread the liquid chocolate mixture over top, covering the dates and nut butter.
Sprinkle flaky sea salt and crushed peanuts on top and freeze for 6+ hours or overnight.
