It’s really hard to go into the grocery store and find healthy preschool snacks! There are SO many products that it’s overwhelming. And if you have your little one shopping with you, I’m doubting they have the patience to let you review the label and ingredients for more than 15 seconds!
I do have a really handy Healthy Storebought Snack Guide for Toddlers to help you quickly choose the best snacks at Target or your local grocery store, which you can get here!
I don’t know about you but my kids ALWAYS ask for a snack when we’re at Target. And the snack aisle is about a million miles long. So that’s why I made that guide for you – pull it up in store and know exactly what options to choose for your little one. Grab your copy here!
Let’s move on to snacks you can buy online, because pretty much my two favorite places to shop are Target, and on my computer. 😆
Preschool Snacks – Buy Online
There are great options online, too! Some of my favorite snacks for toddlers and preschoolers are ones you can only find online (or get better deals online than in-store).
The snacks I recommend here are:
- Low in added sugar
- Free of artificial colors
- Free of artificial flavors
- Made with real food ingredients
Here are my current favorites!
Healthy Preschool Snacks You Should Buy Online

These babies are revolutionizing toddler snacking with a mess-free coating on their bar to prevent your toddler from turning their body and everything around them into a giant sticky mess! Great ingredients and I love that the only sweetness in the bars comes from fruit.
Dino Bars are also nut-free, peanut-free, gluten-free, soy-free, and dairy-free.
Soozy’s Grain-free: Muffins and Donuts
These grain-free muffins and donuts are such a fun and healthy treat! I know it’s strange to hear “healthy” paired with muffin or donut – but these are made with an almond flour base, and are only lightly sweetened. Perfect for a toddler who loves sweet treats!
The Double Chocolate flavor is my personal favorite, and my kids love the blueberry muffins the most! My husband is allllll about the donuts.
Soozy’s muffins and donuts are gluten-free, grain-free, soy-free, and dairy-free.
Safe & Fair: Sweet & Salty Kettle Popcorn Quinoa Chips
Popcorn is a no-no for toddlers (choking hazard), but these kettle popcorn quinoa chips are even better. The perfect bit of sweetness to entice your toddler, with an added nutrition boost from quinoa, flax, sunflower seeds, and chia seeds.
There’s less than 1g of added sugar in a serving of these!! And even though the word “salty” is in their name, the sodium is just 180mg per serving. I like to stay under about 250mg for snacks, so this is great.
USE CODE MAMAKNOWS10 FOR 10% OFF! And you get free shipping on orders over $20.
The Sweet & Salty Kettle Popcorn Quinoa Chips are gluten-free, nut-free, peanut-free, egg-free, milk-free, and soy-free.
Purchase on the Safe & Fair website here (and make sure to grab a bag of their granola as a treat too…Birthday Cake is my fave!)
When I first tried these, all I could say was, “YEEEESSSSS!” These speak to my dietitian heart and my mama heart so much. Simple, healthy ingredients and the nutrition facts are just perfect.
The strawberry vanilla was my kids’s favorite flavor, but they honestly loved them all when we were sent samples to try. I love how easy they are to take on the go, and since the bag is resealable, it’s a perfect quick playground snack.
amg energy bites are gluten-free, soy-free, and dairy-free.
